THE ASHTANAYIKAS
Theme : Visual language of miniature painting. Styles : bundi, kishangarh, kangra, kota, pahari etc.
Concept : The theme of Ashtanayikas painted in this style was not only interesting but also spoke volumes about the cultural setup of those times. The illustrations must communicate which were the eight nayikas and how were they different from each other.
VASAKSAJJA or the one who is waiting for her lover

ABHISARIKA or the one who is bold to go and meet her lover
SWADHINAOPATHIKA or the one who is proud of her beauty
VIRAHINI or the one who is suffering the pain of seperation
MANINI NAYIKA or the one who is angry with her lover and refuses to get back
MILANMUDITA or the one who is happy to meet with her loved one
Transport graphics are bold and a public art gallery of visual icons.
Graphics help establish an identity for their vehicle for public transport owners, on the road. The graphics and the style capture and reflect the character of transport typical to Delhi city.
